[Kurzwort] das, -s, chemische Verbindung aus der Reihe der organischen Phosphorsäureester (chemisch der Äthylester der Dimethylaminocyanophosphorsäure), die v. a. als starker Hemmstoff der Cholinesterase wirkt. Tabun wurde im Zweiten Weltkrieg als chemischer Kampfstoff entwickelt, jedoch nicht verwendet.
